So for Nan Desu Kan here in Colorado this year, I was hoping to have Karla from Record of Lodoss Wars finished… And it didn’t happen. Lack of motivation, stress, and many other things caused it.
But, last night, I finally picked up from where I left off on her cape, which I was altering the pattern so I wouldn’t be drowning in fabric. The pattern was originally for men, and me being a tiny girl… Yeah. Hilarity would’ve ensued. However, hilarity still ensued. I had pinned all of the black fabric, and couldn’t remember how many of each pattern piece I needed in both the black and the dark purple. So, before even cutting out what was pinned, I had to sit down, sketch, and re-plan the stupid cape.
Needless to say, I will be making notes on everything from now on. I feel so very smart. x.x
