Introduction

This blog has been created to show that cosplay isn’t supposed to be a community obsessed with popularity, or that the community itself enjoys it. A lot of amazing and talented people are looked down upon because of their size, appearance, gender, etc. and are used as examples of what you “shouln’t do” on so many other blogs. Others who are good-looking, but not necessarily talented are promoted because of their appearance alone.

I think it’s silly.

This blog will promote change. It’ll be a helpful tool. I plan on having interviews with the known and lesser known, doing/sharing reviews of cons, items, fabric, etc. for cosplayers, posting tutorials. I want this to bring the community together, instead of letting the outside people tear things apart.

In simpler words, this will be a Cosplay Blog with a Brain.

Look forward to more.

I completely agree! I hate seeing “cosplay: fail” linked to photos of “heavier” (for lack of a better word) cosplayers with amazingly detailed costumes. And then you have the celebrities or even just super hot girls in tacky costumes with people praising them them for wearing a costume that was probably named “Kicking Ass and Taking Names Sexy Super Heroine”.

Kudos for interviewing the lesser known cosplayers and asking new questions! 🙂

      Thank you!

I’m hoping this will help bring the community together as a whole instead of letting outside forces judge us as badly as they have, in turn, creating such highly unneeded drama. ❤ Let's give everyone some love!
