This year was a bit slower for me, as I had a busier work schedule and less time to sit and focus on many costumes. Instead, I actually tried to focus on photoshoots for costumes to allow me to get some older ones sold off.
I ended up completing three costumes for 2018. I had hoped to potentially get one more in, but it’s still not entirely finished. One costume was bought from Herostime.com and had changes made to the costume to make it a little more polished. The other 2 costumes were made by me, one being a dream costume and the other being made from leftover wedding decorations, lol!
I managed to attend only one convention, and while I wish I could do more, finances dictated otherwise. We’re for sure attending Denver Comic Con in 2019 (I bought tickets already) and we’re hoping to make it to TwitchCon, but we have family vacations and at least one wedding to plan for.
I feel I did better on being more interactive on social media, but I know some other things I plan to do personally next year. My goal for the blog is more interviews and articles about cosplay!
I’m looking forward to what 2019 will be bringing us! I’ve already got at least four costumes planned for me and 1 for my husband, with one of mine almost ready to go! Here’s to having a creative new year! 😀
